On 20th of April 2024, talk.hyvor.com was added to EasyList, a popular ad domains list. Users who use ad-blockers then had trouble accessing Hyvor Talk on websites for commenting. This includes users of UBlock Origin, AdBlock, and multiple other ad blockers that depend on EasyList.
Yesterday, I posted an issue on EasyList to ask for a removal, and they removed our domain within a few hours.
Your ad blocker should stop blocking Hyvor Talk as soon as they update their EastList data (which happens routinely). Some ad blockers support force updating as well. A “force update Easylist on {your ad blocker}” will give the answer you need.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We also appreciate the fast response of EasyList maintainers to resolve the issue. Note that we do not show ads nor track users when you embed Hyvor Talk on your website!
