We’ve added an update that changes how user-to-user blocking works:
-
Previously, blocking was mutual. If
user1
blockeduser2
, neither could see each other’s comments. Now, it’s one-way. Ifuser1
blocksuser2
,user2
’s comments will be hidden touser1
. But,user2
won’t notice anything. -
Users will now see a descriptive message, instead of the earlier generic one. They can also easily unblock the user.
- The 500 blocks per website per user limit no longer applies. Users can now block an unlimited amount of users.
PS: More updates will be added this week, especially related to notifications from blocked users. We’ll update this post once it’s ready.
